School Leadership Update
Kia ora koutou,
We’re excited to announce that Kylie has accepted a fantastic one-year secondment with the Ministry of Education as the Regional Leadership Advisor for Te Tai Tokerau. This will see her supporting schools across Northland and will start at the beginning of the 2026 school year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for her to explore and develop her leadership skills by working on key educational initiatives that will influence change across the wider education sector. Kylie will be taking a leave of absence from our school for this period. Please join us in wishing her all the best for this exciting new challenge!
Our focus now is on finalising the interim leadership structure. We will provide a detailed update on the transition within the next few weeks to ensure our school community continues to have reliable and effective leadership during her absence.
